Interpreter Services for Reasonable Accommodation, NASWI and NSE   2

Background
The contract is issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest (NAVFAC NW) for Interpreter Services for Reasonable Accommodation at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Naval Station Everett, Washington.

The goal of this contract is to provide in-person and Virtual Remote Interpreter (VRI) services to support deaf personnel in compliance with the United States Department of State’s Disability and Reasonable Accommodations Regulations as per the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide simultaneous or continuous interpretation, translation, and sign language services. This includes:
- Providing interpreter services within the NAVFAC NW Area of Responsibility (AOR), specifically at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Naval Station Everett, Washington.
- Delivering services under a firm-fixed price basis as outlined in the Performance Work Statement Schedule of Services.
- The contract includes a Base period plus two Option Years, with a minimum order amount of $3,000 and a maximum delivery amount of $500,000.
- Task Orders will be issued by an authorized representative to determine the actual amount of work performed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a Base period plus two (2) Option Years, with specific time frames to be determined by task orders issued during this period.

Place of Performance
Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and Naval Station Everett, Washington.
