INTERNATIONAL REMEDIATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES – GENERATION TWO (IRES2), MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC)   8

Background
The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC) is soliciting proposals in support of the Ordinance & Explosives Directorate (OED). The intent is to issue an unrestricted/full and open Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to large and small business concerns who exhibit the required capabilities. The contract has a shared capacity of $750 Million and a five-year ordering period consisting of a 36-month base ordering period, and two 12-month option periods. The contract is intended to support sites located Outside Continental United States, primarily at international locations such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Poland, South Korea, and Ukraine.

Work Details
The objective of this contract is to procure services from a contractor to perform International Remediation and Environmental Services. This includes Military Munitions Response (MMR) services involving Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC), Material Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard (MPPEH), Chemical Warfare Material (CWM), and Biological Warfare Material (BWM); Environmental Compliance and Remediation Services (ECRS) involving primarily Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) including Biological Waste and Munitions Constituents (MC), and Other Munitions-Related Services (OMRS) as necessary to permit lands and waters to be safely and efficiently used for their intended purpose. The contract will have a base ordering period of thirty-six months with two 12-month option periods.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance will be over a five-year period if all options are exercised.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed primarily at international locations including Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Poland, South Korea, and Ukraine.
