This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," in conjunction with FAR Part 8.4 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05, 09-07-2023. Prime Contractor is required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and self-verified as a Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Prime Contractor quote may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify registration and certification status. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) Facility Planning, 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030 is seeking to upgrade and maintain the interior and exterior signage and wayfinding system at MEDVAMC. This solicitation is a Brand Name or Equal SDVOSB set-aside IAW FAR 8.4 and is open to all concerns that meet the requirements outlined within the solicitation and self-verified by GSA and SAM as a SDVOSB.
