Interior Decking Naval Vessels IDIQ   2

Background
The solicitation is for the repair and replacement of Interior Decks under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed price type contract for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option year periods. The place of performance is to be at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, USA. The type of work required includes repairing or replacing carpet, ceramic tile, electric grade matting, broadcast quartz, wear resistant decking, cosmetic polymeric decking, as well as various types of deck paint. Interested parties must have a minimum of 2 years of marine decking work experience.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish the necessary management, material support services, labor, supplies and equipment in order to provide INTERIOR DECKING SSP: SERM- DECK 24-0012 on all vessels located in the Jacksonville homeport area within 30 days of contract award. The delivery order may consist of multiple line items and the contractor may be required to respond to more than one requirement (simultaneous delivery orders for more than one Navy vessel/barge). The contractor shall prepare for and accomplish interior decking on various naval vessels as specified in the work item specifications. The contractor shall have an organization with the experience and ability to apply management techniques, methods and procedures required to complete the requirements of this solicitation. The contractor shall employ trained and technically qualified personnel to perform delivery orders for the duration of this contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option year periods.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, USA.
