Intent to Sole Source Siemens BAS Energy Management.

This procurement is for a new Building Automation System (BAS) Maintenance and Support Contract. The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to provide maintenance, repair, calibration, programming and support for the Siemens Desigo Building Automation System (BAS) at the Ralph H Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center (109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC). This is a full service and maintenance contract for the facility's Siemens Desigo Building Automation System (BAS). The facility's BAS system controls all of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment throughout the building, as well as the equipment that provides steam, hot water, and chilled water to the building.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Charleston, South Carolina, intends to award a sole source procurement for the Building Automation System (BAS) Maintenance and Support Contract at the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The goal is to ensure proper maintenance and support for the Siemens Desigo BAS, which is critical for controlling HVAC systems and other essential utilities in the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all resources necessary for maintenance, repair, calibration, programming, and support of the Siemens Desigo Building Automation System (BAS).

This includes full service and maintenance of the BAS that controls Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment throughout the building, as well as systems that provide steam, hot water, and chilled water.

Control Management Inc is identified as the only authorized distributor/service technician for this system without voiding its warranty.

Period of Performance
Base period plus four option years.
