Intent to Sole Source - Praxair Oxygen   3

The 11^th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a blanket purchase agreement on a sole source basis to Praxair Distribution, Inc. for the procurement of the Praxair Owned Bulk LOX System in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Praxair Distribution, Inc. currently has a system in place in building 1045. The removal of this system would be costly to the Government, therefore Praxair Distribution, Inc. can only provide the required resources. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 325120 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice.
