Intent to Sole Source - PartsBase Subscription

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to PartsBase, Inc., 5401 Broken Sound Blvd NW, Suite 100, Boca Raton, FL, on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

COMFRC HQ/PartsBase subscription

COMFRC requires PartsBase website membership for access to the database of online inventories. This requirement is a follow-on to previously procured database access.

PartsBase is the sole provider of their online inventory site, and the only service provider available to provide membership access to the database.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within four (4) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
