Intent to Sole Source LCMR Technical Refresh

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) Quantico, VA, intends to award a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) sole source contract to SRC, Inc. (6225 Running Ridge Road, North Syracuse, NY 13212) for the Technical Refresh of the AN/TPQ-49 Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR) and ancillary services as listed Table 1. These items are required to support current military operations and facilitate International Program Office objectives. This action falls under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, 6.302-4, or 6.302-6.As a result of market research, SRC, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
Required Delivery: Indefinite
The applicable NAICS code is 334511 Search, Detection, and Instrument Manufacturing , with a size standard of 1,250 employees.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; no solicitation is forthcoming. The determination not to compete this contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. MARCORSYSCOM will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
