Intent to Sole Source Joint Range Extension (JRE) Help Desk Support

This is a synopsis of contract action (SOCA); this is not a solicitation for a Request for Quote.

No reimbursement will made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. No contract award will be made on the basis of response to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to allow interested parties to assert and explain their capability to perform the work described. Responses should appear on company letterhead and include, at a minimum, affirmation of active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), your qualifications and any applicable pricing data or information. All responses should include a point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address. Additionally, respondents should indicate whether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, woman-owned small business, HUB Zone, service disabled veteran-owned small business, or qualify as socially or economically disadvantaged and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. All responsible sources may respond to this notice and all responses will be considered by the agency.

The following is a brief description of the acquisition requirement:

24/7/365 JRE Help Desk. Telephonic technical Support for the JRE system via toll-free JRE Help Line, email and website available 24-hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days per year.

Highly trained JRE Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) provide real-time technical assistance on all issues related to the operation and maintenance of JRE software and hardware.

One base year plus 4 option years plus 6 months pre-priced option.

There are no solicitation documents; however, any vendors that believe they can meet the requirements described should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR part 12.

All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement.
