Intent to Sole Source - Computrition Foodservice Software License

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2 South via New York Harbor Healthcare System, intends to award a firm-fixed-price FSS Delivery Order (FSS-DO) to Computrition, Inc., FSS Contract # 47QTCA21D005U, in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6. The acquisition sought is for Foodservice Software License. The Foodservice Software is used to manage the Visn2S Food Services operations thru the Commissary kitchen. Foodservice Software provides the means to store the food databases for the Visn2S menu which is used by 9 Medical Facilities within the Visn2S delivery area. The software also produces the recipes and production data the Commissary kitchen utilizes to produce the 2 million meals per year to deliver to the 9 sites. The individual facilities use the data base to produce the meal tickets and maintain their patient meal plans. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received no later than 15:00 EST on September 20, 2021 will be considered for the purposes of determining sources for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
