Intent to Sole Source - AUSA Virtual Meeting 2020

The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox (MICC- Fort Knox) intends to award on a sole source basis a contract to The Association of the United States Army (AUSA). Under FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Due to COVID 19, the AUSA Annual Meeting 2020 is converted from an in-person event to a virtual experience with multiple booths and chatrooms scenarios. The virtual scenarios will run live on web based platforms starting 13 October 2020 through 15 October 2020. AUSA is the host and sole provider authorized to provide virtual scenario meeting for the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition 2020. The US Army Accession Mission Support Battalion's, National Convention Division (NCD) will be the attendee for this event as a requirement in support of US Army Marketing, Education, ROTC Cadet Command, PaYs and Medical Recruiting.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) and a solicitation will not be issue. Any response to this notice must SHOW CLEAR and CONVINCING EVIDENCE that competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 21 September 2020 at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
