Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential, and career technical training services to approximately 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps centers nationwide. The requirement is for the operation of the Los Angeles Job Corps Center located in Los Angeles, California. The anticipated period of performance is 3 months with six 1-month options. The requirement includes the provision of academic, career technical, career success skills, career development training, and related support services for an estimated total of 614 students (148 residential male, 232 residential female, and 234 non-residential). The contractor shall operate residential quarters (housing) and services to all students as applicable.

This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 4:30 p.m. PST, April 26, 2017, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via email to: algee.sheryl@dol.gov. The determination not to compete the contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
