Intelligent Systems Research and Development Support-3 increase of contract value

NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) intends to increase the value of the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract Line Items (CLINS) of contract No. 80ARC020D0010. NASA ARC intends to continue the contract 80ARC020D0010 for Intelligent Systems Research and Development Support-3 (ISRDS-3) with KBR Wyle Services, LLC on a sole-source basis pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services with Satisfy Agency Requirements.

The purpose of this contract is to provide research, development, and technology infusion support services to support the Intelligent Systems Division located at ARC in Moffett Field, California. The contract is structured as a single award hybrid contract that consists of Phase-in, Core Management and Core Technical at the main contract level. The contract also consists of IDIQ Task Orders that supports additional requirements under the main contract. The purpose of this action is to increase the value of the IDIQ portion of the contract to fulfill the unforeseen additional requirements arised by several critical programs and projects during the current contract's period of performance. This action does not extend the period of performance of the contract.

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Uyen Tu, Contracting Officer at uyen.k.tu@nasa.gov no later than 12:00AM PST on August 21, 2023. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
