Description

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) has awarded a new procurement modification under existing contract N0003020C0003 issued on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield, MA to update the Refresh 1 design for incorporation of the integrated video architecture (IVA) capability and delivery of the IVA technical data package under CLIN 0004 of the existing contract.

The award date was August 15, 2022.

This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by GDMS under contract N0003020C0003, which was awarded June 10, 2020 using other than full and open competition.

GDMS is the only known source with the requisite design background, system knowledge and operational experience relative to the TRIDENT II Fire Control Subsystem and Advanced Weapon Control System capable of providing the required efforts within existing technical, cost and fleet schedule constraints.

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.301. This NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.
