This requirement is for manufacture, test and delivery of Band 1 and Band 2 (ISRFS and all its components), as well as, to provide hardware modifications that will significantly improve and maintain the Airborne Threat Simulation Organization?s (ATSO) capabilities as a leader in electronic attack (EA) and active emitter systems for the simulation of threats against US forces in a dynamic electronic warfare environment. Background
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the closing date to 26 January 2024 and post updated drawings for Attachment 1, 2, 3, and 4, 1236AS6602 KA-Band drawing Rev C, Ka-Band Performance Specifications Rev A, 1611AS12395 I-Band drawing Rev H, I-Band Specifications Rev A. This requirement is for manufacture, test and delivery of Band 1 and Band 2 (ISRFS and all its components), as well as, to provide hardware modifications that will significantly improve and maintain capabilities.

Work Details
Integrated Stabilized Radio Frequency Source (ISRFS) - The required response date/time has changed from 09-Jan-2023 04:00 PM to 31-Jan-2023 04:00 PM.

The depository location has changed from Bldg 2334 to N/A. Both variants of the ISRFS are LEGACY components; therefore, the 3U VME functionality and form factor is required. These legacy components are installed internal to a 7 slot VME Chassis. The thermal model shows airflow over the top of the ISRs averaging about 80C. The VME Chassis baseplate (where the ISRFS mounts) is actually a bit warmer, averaging around 85C. Therefore, we are unable to lower the acceptance operating temperature range in section 3.6.3.2.1.

The outline drawing for the KA-Band ISRFS is incorrect. The VME Address and Data lines may potentially be used; therefore, the “not used” label should be removed.
