Installation of Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for building 1904   2

Background
The solicitation is for the installation of a Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for building 1904 at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. The contract involves providing all necessary infrastructure upgrades to support system operations, integrating approved Government Furnished Property/Equipment (GFP/GFE) into the system, and ensuring that the system consists of already proven Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment from the Approved Equipment List (AEL) installed in the approved and tested configuration.

Work Details
The contractor is required to procure and install DOD-approved IDS equipment that complies with Protection Level 3 (PL3) standards and Information Security (INFOSEC) – Secure Room Storage Standards. They must also conduct equipment production qualification tests, acceptance testing, and support Government operational evaluation for non-AEL IDS equipment. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for performing Contractor Verification Testing of the system and subsystems, providing site-specific training personnel, and offering project management for sub-contractors and onsite personnel.
