the following questions have been asked and clarified

1. Q: Please specify the 12 border material and how it will be supported (e.g., staked in place, burial of bottom 4 only, etc.)

A: Boarder material will be 2 x 12 brown treated lumber. Support with 4 bottom burial and wood stakes.

1. Q: Please specify the geotextile fabric material (e.g., woven reinforcement geotextile or non-woven filtration geotextile).

A: Non- Woven Geotextile fabric

1. Q: If the work is completed in Fall/Winter 2020, existing lawn areas that are disturbed cannot be repaired with grass or seed until Spring 2021. Please clarify if the contractor is required to return in Spring 2021 to repair disturbed areas, or if this requirement can be removed from the scope of work so long as the contractor minimizes disturbed areas to the greatest extent practicable.

A: Contractor will not be required in Spring of 2021.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached.

The solicitation number is 70Z045-21-Q-PJT01100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word.
