THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NON-COMPETITIVE (NOTICE OF INTENT)
SYNOPSIS TO AWARD A CONTRACT WITHOUT PROVIDING FOR FULL OR OPEN
COMPETITION (INCLUDING BRAND-NAME).
National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) intends to negotiate on a
sole source basis with Agilent Technologies for the Installation of NMR consoles and
peripheral equipment for NMR400, 400-MR, and 600 MHz DD2 NMR systems.

Background
The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is seeking to negotiate a sole source contract with Agilent Technologies for the installation of NMR consoles and peripheral equipment for their NMR400, 400-MR, and 600 MHz DD2 NMR systems.

This acquisition is necessary to ensure continuity of research and consistency of data/results, which are critical for the ongoing projects at NCATS.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the reinstallation of three Agilent NMR consoles and their peripheral equipment in the recently renovated CLL NMR Lab.

An Agilent service engineer must unpack and install these components to adhere to the appropriate standard operating procedures for proprietary equipment.

The installation must be performed by Agilent to avoid liability issues that could arise from third-party installations, which may lead to system failures or damage and invalidate warranties associated with the equipment.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be made 45 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at the CLL NMR Lab.
