Installation of NMR console and peripheral equipment for Bruker 400 MHz Avance NEO Ascend NMR System

Background
The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bruker Biospin, Inc. for the installation of NMR consoles and peripheral equipment for the Bruker 400 MHz Avance NEO Ascend NMR System. This contract is essential for the Analytical Chemistry Core (ACC) at DPI/NCATS, which relies on advanced NMR spectroscopy for research projects focused on various disease targets.

Work Details
The contract will involve the reinstallation of a Bruker NMR superconducting magnet, console, and peripheral equipment in the recently renovated CLL NMR Lab. A Bruker service engineer will unpack and install these components to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures specific to Bruker's proprietary equipment. The installation must be performed by Bruker due to liability concerns and warranty requirements associated with the NMR system.

The work includes ensuring proper setup for various 1D and 2D NMR experiments, as well as variable temperature studies necessary for structure validation and analysis of small molecules, peptides, and proteins. The field service engineer will also provide documentation confirming the successful completion of the installation.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be made 60 days after receipt of order (ARO).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the CLL NMR Lab within the NCATS facility.
