The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee delivery order N0001923F0037 under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001920G0005 with Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., San Diego, California on a sole source basis for the procurement of installation of MQ-4C Triton ground segments mobile operating base (MOB) one primary and secondary and MOB two primary and secondary, as well as the performance of post installation site acceptance testing for the Government of Australia. Additionally, this order exercises options to provide software loads for the MOB one primary and secondary and the MOB two primary. This delivery order was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the MQ-4C Triton UAS and is the only responsible source possessing the engineering data; technical skills; and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, and operational characteristics of the MQ-4C UAS required to perform the necessary follow-on production efforts within the required timeframes and without substantial duplication of costs.
