Description

This solicitation is issued as a follow-on to the presolicitation notice posted on June 13, 2022. See attached documents for specifics regarding specifications and instructions to offerors on submission of quotes.

Background
This solicitation is issued as a follow-on to the presolicitation notice posted on June 13, 2022. The project is being managed from the 105th Civil Engineer and 105th Contracting offices located at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, New York. The work described in this scope will take place at an active DoD Installation. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. This action is being solicited on a 100% Small Business Set Aside basis.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to complete the installation of Roadshark Low Profile Traffic Spikes at the 105th Stewart Air National Guard Base main entrance. The work includes site preparation such as markout of the work area, sawcutting pavement, trenching for new conduit, removal of existing subgrade, installation of new subgrade materials and perforated pipe within the drain rock layer.
Additionally, it involves installing government furnished Road Shark LPC-48 with heat tracer per manufacturers specifications, concrete testing for compressive strength, installation of signs and reflective paint markings on the roadway.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for the duration of the time it takes to survey, design and renovate the project area as described in detail in Part 5 herein but not to exceed 30 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the main entrance, located at the 105th Airlift Wing, Stewart Air National Guard Base, Newburgh, New York.
