Background
The mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Bliss, Texas is issuing a solicitation for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for the installation of new kitchenettes at Building 2478.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's capabilities by providing necessary kitchen amenities that meet regulatory codes and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing kitchenettes that include: a sink with running hot/cold water, upper and lower cabinets with countertops suitable for food preparation, 220v wiring to support an electric range, and a fire suppression system.

Specific tasks include: demolishing walls as needed, patching and repairing damaged areas, installing birch wood cabinets with a specific finish, providing stainless steel sinks and faucets, installing garbage disposals and electrical outlets, providing water fountains with bottle filling stations, upgrading electrical circuits for new appliances, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations regarding asbestos and lead materials.

The contractor must also ensure safe access to the building during construction and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.

Period of Performance
180 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Building 2478 within the Fort Bliss Installation in Texas.

Bidder Requirements
