Install GFE Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul Bldg 1101 - Bldg 1305

Background
This procurement supports a critical enhancement to the communication infrastructure of key operational facilities at Naval Base Kitsap. The project extends advanced wireless technology to provide robust, high-bandwidth connectivity between Buildings 1100 and 1305. This upgrade enables real-time data exchange, increases operational resiliency, and supports command and control systems. The requirement will be fulfilled through competitive procurement to ensure the best value.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish and install IW9167E outdoor Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul access points, antennas, and associated components between Building 1100 and Building 1305. Work shall include:

1. Site assessments to determine optimal locations for wireless access points, assessing existing Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) infrastructure, UPS coverage, and emergency generator support.

2. Development of installation plans including schematics, equipment lists, mounting methods, cable runs, and estimated timelines.

3. Physical installation of access points securely mounted using industry best practices.

4. Connection of devices to PoE-enabled switches with UPS and generator backup, ensuring all cabling meets outdoor/industrial standards.

5. Validation of operational readiness through system testing to verify minimum throughput of 600 Mbps between access points under normal load and minimum signal strength of -65 dBm at both endpoints.

Period of Performance
All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days of contract award unless otherwise approved in writing.
