Inspection and Maintenance of Electric Gate Systems at Yokota Air Base, Japan

Background
The contract is issued by the United States Air Force for the inspection and maintenance of electric gate systems at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The goal is to provide continuous maintenance and timely repairs to these systems over a specified period.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1) Preventive Maintenance of Electric Gate Systems at Yokota Air Base in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
2) Service Repair Calls as needed during the contract period.
3) Provide Reimbursable Parts for repairs as required.
4) Conduct Level II Work as specified in the PWS. All services are to be performed under a Firm Fixed Price arrangement for a duration of 60 months.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 60 months, starting from October 1, 2026, and ending on September 30, 2031.

Place of Performance
Yokota Air Base, Fussa Shi, Japan.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess specific qualifications including:
1) A valid 1st Class or 2nd Class Electrician license from the appropriate prefectural or metropolitan government in accordance with Japanese law.
2) Alternatively, bidders may hold a certification as a Certified Skilled Worker of Machine Maintenance (1-Kyu kikai hozen ginoshi or Tokkyu kikai hozen ginoshi). Additionally, all bidders must submit copies of required licenses as part of their proposal.
