HQ0860-23-S-0001 Call 0001 entitled "Innovation in Single Event Effects Testing & Evaluation" has been posted under Research Area #12 Radiation Effects, Heavy Ion, Proton, and Neutron Single Event Effects on Electronic Devices and Systems. White papers are requested no later than June 22, 2023 by 5:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). There will be a virtual unclassified Industry Day held on May 23, 2023. Registration for the Industry Day is required by May 19, 2023.

MDA established this BAA to identify and develop innovative concepts across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines, to include disruptive technologies that stimulate innovation and exploit breakthroughs in science to offer robust technology improvements to the Missile Defense System.

The MDA IS&T BAA, FAR and Non-FAR Solutions, is a competitive, science and technology research program, which consists of forefront advanced research and development technology, concepts, and approaches acquired through scientific and technological investigation. The MDA IS&T BAA is used to fulfill MDA's requirement for scientific study and experimentation directed toward advancing the state-of-the-art, and increasing knowledge and understanding, rather than focusing on a specific system or hardware solution. Potential offerors are encouraged to learn more about MDA at https://www.mda.mil.

This is a Two-Step Open BAA, which provides for the competitive selection of research proposals. The following information is relative to Step-One, which is the submission of white papers. MDA will contact offerors whose white papers are selected to proceed to Step-Two with further instructions to follow.
