Inland River Towboat - New or Used   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) St. Paul District is seeking to acquire a new or used inland river towing vessel to support its mission of transporting heavy barges and floating plant to worksites along the Upper Mississippi River. The primary goal of this contract is to facilitate the positioning of floating plant around navigation structures requiring repair, thereby enhancing operational efficiency in the district's 224 river miles.

Work Details
The vessel must meet the following specifications:
- **Construction Year**: No earlier than 2010
- **Length**: Between 65 ft and 130 ft
- **Horsepower**: Between 1,200 BHP and 3,000 BHP
- **Draft**: Maximum of 8 ft 6 in (8.5 ft)
- **Fuel Capacity**: Between 9,000 and 40,000 gallons
- **Crew Berths**: At least for 4 crew members

Additional requirements include compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and American Bureau of Shipping standards. The vessel must be equipped with necessary navigation equipment as per USCG standards, including VHF radios, GPS systems, and safety devices around machinery. Tugboats will not be accepted for this contract.

Period of Performance
Preferred delivery is Spring 2026; however, this date is negotiable.

Place of Performance
The vessel will be delivered to Fountain City, WI.
