Background
The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota has a requirement for the purchase of 4x4 Pick-up and SUV armored vehicles to enhance security for personnel and operations in Colombia.

The vehicles must be nondescript and common locally to ensure a sustainable maintenance capacity. This procurement is part of INL's mission to support law enforcement efforts in Colombia.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide two mid-size utility vehicles that meet specific technical specifications, including:
- Classification: Mid-size 5 doors Utility Vehicle
- Condition: New vehicles only
- Production Year: Most recent year
- Seating Capacity: At least 7 passengers
- Drivetrain: 4WD
- Transmission: Automatic, at least 5 shifts + reverse
- Fuel Type: Diesel or Petrol
- Exterior Color: Muted shades or discreet colors such as gray, silver, bronze, white, black, dark blue; no bright colors accepted.
- Emissions must comply with host nation standards.
- Vehicles must include equipment such as an individual first aid kit, fire extinguisher, side steps, OEM fog lights, heavy-duty carpets, rear camera, anti-theft systems, and road equipment. Armoring must provide protection against high power weapons up to 9mm / 44 Magnum and include underbody blast protection against at least one grenade DM51.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 180 days from the date of award to deliver the full order.

Place of Performance
The delivery locations for the vehicles are Medellin, Cali, and Barranquilla in Colombia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate that they can provide vehicles that comply with local legislation and possess all necessary certificates of conformity. The contractor must also have adequate service facilities and supply of spare parts in Colombia.
