Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. government to procure riot control and law enforcement equipment for Bolivia, aimed at supporting the democratically elected government in maintaining public order and security amidst escalating protests and civil unrest that began in May 2026. All items must meet or exceed industry standards for riot control equipment, be new and unused in original manufacturer packaging, include manufacturer's warranty and technical documentation, comply with applicable U.S. export control regulations, and include operation and maintenance manuals in both English and Spanish.
