This Source Sought Notice (SSN) is issued for market information and planning for future acquisition in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). Responses to notice 36C26226Q1051 will improve the understanding of the Government s requirement and industry capabilities. It will enhance the Government s ability to obtain quality supplies and allow for potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government s requirement. This is not a solicitation announcement. Responses to this notice cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Information received shall be safeguarded adequately from unauthorized disclosure. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources that can provide Infusion Chairs IAW attached SSN 36C26226Q1051, and Statement of Work (SOW). Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources that can provide Infusion Chairs as per the Statement of Work (SOW) outlined in Source Sought Notice (SSN) 36C26226Q1051.

The purpose of this notice is to gather information on potential qualified sources and their capabilities to fulfill the requirement for infusion chairs, which are essential for patient treatment in the Oncology Department. The current infusion chairs are outdated and pose safety risks, necessitating their replacement to ensure patient safety and maintain Infection Control standards.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of twelve infusion chairs with the following specifications:
- Powered recline operation with vertical lift capability up to 11 inches using a corded control wand.
- Minimum weight capacity of 650 lbs static and 500 lbs dynamic.
- Integrated USB power outlet, heated seat feature, and capability to hold a Foley bag.
- Removable headrest pillow.
- Trendelenburg positioning operated through the control wand.
- Central locking caster system with casters measuring at least 3 inches or larger.
- Push bar for improved maneuverability and protective edge guards for durability.
- Overall minimal dimensions: Width: 34.5 inches, Depth: 40.5 inches, Height: 48.5 inches, Seat Height: 24.5 inches.
- Upholstered with medical-grade B6 fabric suitable for healthcare environments.
- Solid-surface arm caps made of high-quality urethane material for ease of cleaning and long-term use.
- Ergonomic design providing patient support in a zero-gravity position for enhanced comfort during infusion treatments.
