INDUSTRY MEETING - CHICAGO SANITARY AND SHIP CANAL (CSSC) PERMANENT BARRIER 1 ELECTRICAL PULSE GENERATING SYSTEM - SUPPLY & INSTALLATION   3

This Special Notice is being provided to transmit the USACE's Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) solicitation package for review and to invite interested contractors to an Industry Meeting being hosted by the Chicago District to discuss the aspects of the project and the "soon to be advertised" RFP/Solicitation package.
Invitation is hereby extended to all interested contractors to attend an Industry Meeting for this project. The meeting will be held on February 28, 2018, beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. (CDT). The meeting will be held at:

ROMEOVILLE VILLAGE HALL
1050 West Romeo Road
Romeoville, IL 60446

During this meeting, government representatives will provide an overview of the project and will highlight the specific contract requirements. The objective is to provide an information exchange between the government and Industry to allow the USACE to obtain feedback from interested parties on the draft project solicitation.

Following the meeting at Romeoville Village Hall, interested contractors will have the opportunity to visit the project site, which is approximately 3 miles from Village Hall. Individuals wishing to visit the project site must have a hard hat, reflective vest, and safety shoes.

In the interest of making the meeting more meaningful, interested contractors are urged to present any written questions concerning the DRAFT RFP package prior to the meeting. Questions and/or comments shall be furnished to Regina G. Blair at regina.g.blair@usace.army.mil with a copy furnished to Ericka Hillard at ericka.d.hillard@usace.army.mil. Ensure that your correspondence (and the subject line of your email) contains the project title/ DRAFT RFP Number W912P6-18-R-0005.

Relative to the "DRAFT" RFP Package, interested contractors will have an opportunity to provide any feedback or questions to the USACE beginning on February 15, 2018 through March 15, 2018.
