SUBJECT: Launch Operations Support (LOSC) Solicitation FA4610-15-R-0002 Industry Day/Site Visit , posted 09 Aug 16

1. A sources sought synopsis was posted 31 Oct 14 for subject. Since the last posting of the draft RFP on 12 Jul 16, changes have been made in the requirements. Included in that posting were our responses to the 108 questions we received from industry.

2. The purpose of this communication is to notify your company that the Government intends to post a final Request for Proposal to the FBO website for the subject acquisition within the next 10 days.

3. The scope of the proposed effort provides launch operations suppport (LOSC), mission support for the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), buildings, infrastructure, and Real Property (RP) in support of Western Range operations, on Vandenberg AFB, CA. Completion of requirements will ensure Real Property, Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) and facilities are maintained and operationally ready for a variety of ballistic missile, space, guided weapon, and aircraft test and evaluation missions in support of Air Force, Navy, Army, National Reconnaissance Office, Missile Defense Agency and other governmental agencies. This acquisition will be a small-business set aside and the basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Teaming arrangements or joint ventures may be acceptable.

4. If your company is interested in this requirement, we request that you promptly respond with the names of attendees to this letter no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Time on 12 Aug 2016. If you are attending, you will need to provide 2 forms of ID (drivers license and one other). The Industry Day/Site visit is scheduled on 18 Aug 2016 from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Pacific Time.
