*INDUSTRY DAY* Office Systems Furniture - Added Q&As 02-05-21

Background
The USDA Rural Development agency will relocate operations from the Federal Center at 4300 Goodfellow Blvd., St. Louis, MO, to areas within One Metropolitan Square in St. Louis, MO.

USDA-RD plans to repurpose existing private office furniture systems and acquire new compatible furniture to support its operations. An Industry Day was held on January 21, 2021 to present project objectives and collect industry feedback.

Work Details
Inventory and cataloging of existing furniture components (private office furniture, workstation systems, conference room furniture, specialty rooms, break area furniture)
Disassembly and packing of existing furniture
Coordination of short-term storage for existing furniture
Transportation and relocation of furniture from 4300 Goodfellow Blvd to One Metropolitan Square
Reassembly and installation of existing furniture in the new leased space per floor plans
Design, procurement, and installation of new systems furniture compatible with existing systems
Optional re-upholstery services for existing components with cost evaluations
Development of phased manufacturing and installation schedules to align deliveries with construction milestones
Labor planning including crew sizing and duration estimates for breakdown, reconfiguration, manufacturing, and installation activities
Provision of storage solutions at manufacturing or off-site facilities as necessary

Period of Performance
Notice to Proceed expected in September 2021 through completion of construction and move-in by January 2022
