Description: GSA is hosting an in person and virtual Industry Day, at the Denver Federal Center, for design and construction industry professionals who are interested in the Alcan Land Port of Entry (LPOE) project. The anticipated project is a new land port of entry on the eastern border in Alaska. The new port will be constructed at the existing port site. This new project will be a gateway to our country and will transform an obsolete border facility into a state-of-the-art port of entry, which will improve safety and security for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. It shall make a distinct architectural statement that is responsive to the efficient movement of trade and commerce, the security requirements of law enforcement agencies, and the welcoming of visitors and citizens to the United States of America. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is the current tenant.

The intended delivery method is Design-Build (DB) which will result in a firm-fixed price Contract to the successful DB Contractor. The scope of work includes all design, labor and materials required to provide design and construction services for the Alcan LPOE project. The services requested of the DB Contractor shall cover a wide range of design and construction activities. The DB Contractor shall be a member of the project team during design, construction and turnover/closeout stages. The DB Contractor selected for this project shall work in alignment with the GSA and GSA's selected team, including Construction Manager as Agent (CMa), Jacobs Engineering, Inc. (Jacobs), and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

The Industry Day seeks to facilitate the following:

GSA will email the participating contractors a list of the attendees (please state in the RSVP if your firm does NOT want to be included on the participant contact distribution).

Contractors/firms interested in participating in the industry day are requested to respond via email to the Contracting Officer, Brian Turk, at brian.turk@gsa.gov and Project Manager, Brandon Fortune, brandon.fortune@gsa.gov at no later than 3:00pm Mountain Time on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
