Industry Day - Detroit Arsenal Innovation (DAI) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA), W56HZV-23-9-D001 RPP 25-D02, Vehicle Protection System (VPS) Soft Kill Active Protection System (APS)

Background
The Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is hosting an Industry Day for the Soft Kill Active Protection System (APS) as part of the Detroit Arsenal Innovation (DAI) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA), W56HZV-23-9-D001 RPP 25-D02. The goal of this event is to provide industry stakeholders with information regarding the requirements for the Soft Kill APS, which aims to enhance the protection of Ground Combat Vehicles (GCVs) from anti-armor munitions.

Work Details
The Industry Day will include a briefing on the requirements for the Soft Kill APS. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions through the National Advance Mobility Consortium (NAMC) by 3:00 PM on June 2, 2025, for review and response during or after the event. The Soft Kill APS system must be modular, safety compliant, and expandable using open standards. It should detect incoming threats, identify appropriate countermeasures, and engage/neutralize those threats. Key requirements include:

- Modularity for easy integration of future sensor and countermeasure solutions that are Modular Active Framework (MAF)-compliant.

- Safety compliance necessitating rigorous design, development, testing, and documentation for Safety Review Board requirements.

- Expandability of software and architecture to adapt as MAF standards evolve.

Additionally, there will be no live Q&A segment during the meeting, and no one-on-one sessions will be conducted.
