Description

INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Air Force Test Center's Installation Contracting Division (AFTC/PZI), Operating Location Arnold Air Force Base, is hosting an Industry Day at the University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI) located in Tennessee on Wednesday, 13 November 2024 from 0800 to 1500 Central Time. A DRAFT Agenda is attached to this announcement.

The purpose of the Industry Day is to enhance potential offerors' understanding of the Government's requirement for a commercial solution to support the expansion of one of Arnold Engineering Development Complex's test capabilities. There are two main tasks associated with this requirement:

1. Reactivation of a large industrial-grade heater to work alongside the existing heater, enabling the delivery of elevated temperatures to the process air system for the test cell.

2. Installation of ducting, valves, and hydraulic skids to channel the heated air from the heaters to the test cell. This system will include a duct leg configuration to ensure stable conditions with the test cell and incorporate necessary controls, pressure, and flow valves to regulate process air parameters.

For additional information, please see Attachment 2 DRAFT Statement of Objectives.

Industry Day participants must be certified in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). For more information about the JCP, please visit the following Defense Logistics Agency website: https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/#general-instructions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a site tour and to speak with Government subject matter experts (SMEs) via a one-on-one, in-person 30-minute session. Each session will include the Procuring Contracting Officer. We are not requesting briefings of capabilities during this time, but rather would like to hear from you on any issues/concerns/questions you may have about the requirement.

REGISTRATION: If you are interested in participating in the subject Industry Day, please send an email to noah.bean.1@us.af.mil and brooke.vandeman@us.af.mil no later than 1:00 PM Central Time on 1 November 2024. Provide the following information: name of your company, name(s) of attendee(s), citizenship, email address of each attendee, and your preferred meeting time. Also, include any topics of interest you wish to discuss during the one-on-one meetings with the Government.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This announcement does not constitute an invitation for bid or request for proposal.
