Industry comments are being sought in the potential Government acquisition of the GPS Engineering, Analysis & Remote Site Sustainment (GEARSS II) contract. The Government intends to award a competitive, total small business set-aside and is contemplating a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract type.

This acquisition is a total Small Business set-aside under NAICS Code 541330, Engineering Services, with a small business size standard of $38.5 million (military and aerospace equipment and military weapons).

The attached "DRAFT" Request for Proposal is posted for industry review and comment. The Government will accept comments submitted via the attached comment resolution matrix (CRM). In the CRM, please ensure to list the specific document pertaining to the comment in column "B". All CRMs are to be submitted to the POCs identified below. Late comments will not be considered. The Government will consolidate industry feedback into a single CRM, disassociate comments with a particular vendor, and post the responses to FBO.

Interested parties eligible for award may request a copy of the Bidder's Library in preparation for the official RFP posting in accordance with SF 33, Section L paragraph 3.1. Interested parties must submit their written request and a valid DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement prior to receipt of the Bidder's Library. NOTE: The Bidder's Library may be revised prior to official RFP posting.

Industry comments are being sought in the potential Government acquisition of the GPS Engineering, Analysis & Remote Site Sustainment (GEARSS II) contract. The Government intends to award a competitive, total small business set-aside and is contemplating a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract type. The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) GPS Directorate (SMC/GP) intends to award the GEARSS II contract from 1 January 2019 through 31 December 2023, with a possible six month extension of services through 30 June 2024.
The attached "draft" Performance Work Statement (PWS), Section L, Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors or Respondents, and Section M, Evaluation Factors for Award, are posted for industry review and comment. The Government will accept comments submitted via the attached comment resolution matrix (CRM) by Friday, February 23, 2018, 1500 MST. All CRMs are to be submitted to Mr. Robert Woolfolk. Late comments will not be considered. The Government will consolidate industry feedback into a single CRM, disassociate comments with a particular vendor, and post the responses to FBO.
