Background
The 55 Logistics Readiness Squadron has issued a Sources Sought notice for the procurement of portable industrial heaters with forced air, not direct heat, to address the need for excess heat during cold weather. The heaters are required for use on vehicles and spaces to maintain vehicle operations and provide heat during inclement winter weather. The current inventories of AGE heaters are not adequate to meet the base demand, as demonstrated by the impact of a recent winter storm on the refueling fleet and critical buildings at Offutt Air Force Base.

Work Details
Title: Obtain portable industrial heaters of 400,000+BTUs with forced air, not direct heat for use on vehicles and spaces in need of excess heat during cold weather.
Item Requirements:
- Provide 400,000+ BTUs forced air heat
- Must be fueled by Diesel fuel
- Must have attachments for 12” flexible, re-usable hoses
- Must be portable
- Must include a cab heater and inside dome light
- Must have cargo box and cover to protect cargo
- Must have engine oil dipstick
