Background
The Ralph H. Johnson (RHJ) VA Medical Center, along with six Community Outpatient Based Clinics and eight Administrative Facilities, requires various Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Environmental services to be contracted out on an as-needed basis.

The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and mold, thereby supporting the agency's mission to provide quality healthcare services.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform IH monitoring, testing, and analysis as requested by the medical center. Services include but are not limited to:
- Indoor air quality testing (mold spore trap or direct exam testing/analysis/culture)
- Lead air monitoring
- Lead chip/wipe testing/analysis
- Asbestos air samples and clearance monitoring/testing (PLM & TEM)
- Asbestos bulk sampling/inspection
- IH exposure sampling for various environmental agents (bacteria, fungi, drugs).

The contractor must provide a projected task order for each requested task, which should be emailed to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on the same day of contact. Services must be provided within one working day (24 hours) of acceptance of the proposed task order or scheduled for a mutually acceptable date.

Period of Performance
Base Year: February 2, 2025 - February 1, 2026; Option Year 1: February 2, 2026 - February 1, 2027; Option Year 2: February 2, 2027 - February 1, 2028; Option Year 3: February 2, 2028 - February 1, 2029; Option Year 4: February 2, 2029 - February 1, 2030.
