Background
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is conducting market research to identify parties capable of providing Indoor Firearms Range Maintenance and Lead Cleaning Services at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

The FBI's Finance and Facilities Division (FFD) aims to establish a clean and healthy work environment free of airborne and surface heavy metals, ensuring that all range ventilation air filtration systems function properly. This requirement is crucial for supporting the operational mission of the FBI's Defensive Systems Unit (DSU) and maintaining safe facilities for firearms research, development, and training.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing firing range cleaning, maintenance, and lead removal services at two locations: B.7100 Redstone Road (Defensive Systems Unit firing range) and B.6315 Martin Rd (Ballistics Research Facility).

Key tasks include:
1. Cleaning and maintaining two indoor ranges with specific dimensions and air filtration systems requiring periodic filter replacements.
2. Monthly raking of outdoor berms to maintain integrity and mining for lead as requested by the FBI.
3. Replacement of various air filters in ventilation units according to a specified schedule.
4. Vacuuming all floors, walls, and surfaces using HEPA filter vacuums to remove lead residue.
5. Cleaning concrete floors, target runners, and horizontal surfaces using approved methods to eliminate heavy metal dust contamination.
6. Containerizing and labeling all hazardous waste generated during cleaning operations for proper disposal.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price contract with a base period of one year, including options that may extend the total performance period up to five years.

The services will be performed at two locations within Redstone Arsenal: B.7100 Redstone Road and B.6315 Martin Rd, Huntsville, Alabama.
