Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Office requires a vendor to provide a Certified Industrial Hygienist (or an experienced industrial hygienist well versed in indoor air quality investigations) to perform an Indoor Environmental Assessment at the Winnemucca District Office located at 5100 E Winnemucca Blvd, Winnemucca, NV 89445 to investigate employee complaints reported by BLM staff. The assessment shall include, at a minimum, an onsite inspection of the affected area, evaluation of the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system, interviews with management and employees, and any necessary sampling based on industry standards. Specifically, if determined to be warranted, the assessment should determine (but not limited to): sources of possible indoor air quality concerns, potential contaminants present in the area, quantification of potential contaminants that are relevant to employees' complaints, potential for other occupant health hazards, recommendations on corrective actions, and other recommendations for prevention of similar situations in future renovations. Ensure all related costs for onsite activities, travel, sampling supplies, expedited laboratory analysis, etc. are included in the cost estimate proposal. Contractor is responsible for taking all necessary safety precautions to prevent injury to personnel or damage to property. Please see the attached Statement of Work for details. The government anticipates award of a single Firm Fixed Price order and will be in accordance with the attached SOW, Terms and Conditions, and the contractors GSA Schedule Contract Terms and Conditions. Please include GSA Schedule Number with quote. Any proposed open market services must be identified in the quote. Prospective vendors shall refrain from contacting any government employees associated with this requirement to discuss this Request for Quote (RFQ) or project. Vendors, including subcontractors and partners, shall not attempt such contacts from the date of release of the RFQ through contract award. All correspondence shall be through the Contracting Officer. Contractors that make direct contact with government employees, other than the Contracting Officer, regarding this solicitation and project will not be considered for award.
