Individually Ventilated Caging Systems for Guinea Pigs

Background
The Defense Health Agency Research & Development (DHA R&D) is seeking information regarding the procurement of Individually Ventilated Caging Systems for Guinea Pigs to support the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) located at Fort Detrick, MD.

This Request for Information (RFI) is intended for market research and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or quotations.

Work Details
The supply requirement includes:
- Two (2) Allentown®, LLC free-standing EcoFloTM Individually Ventilated Caging (IVC) air handling units (AHUs), also referred to as blowers or air delivery systems.
- Four (4) Allentown®, LLC individually-ventilated animal caging (IVC/IVCs) NexGen 1800 Tall racks equipped with water manifolds, air supply and exhaust plenums, and casters.
- Four (4) Allentown®, LLC rack air manifolds to connect racks to tower AHU supply and exhaust.
- 120 Allentown®, LLC cage card holders.
- 120 Allentown®, LLC cages and lids with air filters.
- 120 Allentown®, LLC hanging J-shape feeders.
- 120 Allentown®, LLC stainless steel rear shelves for cages.
- 240 Allentown®, LLC bottles and lids with sipper tubes with balls.
- Accessories from Allentown®, LLC including hoses, clamps, manifolds, tee risers, snap rings, grommets, and other connection accessories necessary for operation during the first twelve months after delivery.

Period of Performance
The estimated delivery and installation of the equipment is projected to be one month following the delivery order date.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must provide a Capability Statement detailing their technical experience relevant to the material buy outlined in the RFI. They should also indicate whether the material buy is commercial in nature and provide noted delivery terms and warranty terms for the materials.
