Background
The solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Projects at Naval Station Great Lakes and NOSCs. The work includes construction tasks related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects at the specified locations.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various construction tasks such as plumbing, site preparation, evaluation of existing mechanical or electrical room walls or doors, fire-resistance rated walls/doors or fire-stopping for existing penetrations, fire alarm or fire suppression systems evaluation or modification, life safety evaluation or Life Safety Plans, through-penetration firestop system submittal and testing.
Additionally, it involves coordination of activities with administrative staff and obtaining necessary permissions for interruptions/changes in the facilities operations. The work also requires compliance with applicable portions of UFC 1-200-02 HIGH PERFORMANCE AND SUSTAINABLE BUILDING REQUIREMENTS.

Period of Performance
The Time for Completion of the contract is within 365 calendar days after award.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Naval Station Great Lakes and NOSCs in Illinois Street.
