Background
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bangladesh Mission is issuing a request for information (RFI) to interested partners, particularly local entities and locally-established partners, for the implementation of a $20-$40 million project focused on increasing access to finance for agricultural micro, small and medium enterprises, as well as vulnerable and marginalized populations.

Work Details
The work involves coordinating with all Feed the Future (FTF) activities, especially those working within specific value chains such as horticulture, livestock, and aquaculture. The activity aims to stimulate debt primarily through commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), and microfinance institutions (MFIs). Additionally, the implementer may choose various approaches to achieve the end result of increasing access to finance.
The activity will be funded with FTF funds, so all activities should either be within the Zone of Influence (ZOI) or Zone of Response (ZOR), or have a connection to the ZOI and ZOR. USAID is primarily interested in supporting agribusinesses lacking access to finance, which may be located in both rural and urban areas.
