Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) on behalf of the PMS 312, In-Service Aircraft Carriers, intends to issue a Competitive solicitation in August 2022 for CVN Fire Watch support under a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effott (LOE) contract with associated supplies and services, under NAICS code 336611. Attachment 1 to the Draft Solicitation is a Government Furnished Information Request Form and Attachment 2 is a Question Submittal Form interested parties may submit. The purpose of this announcement is to inform all interested parties of the forthcoming requirements for this procurement and to request feedback from industry on the attached draft solicitation. Feedback will be accepted until 22 JUL 2022 due to the forthcoming solicitation release schedule.

Work Details
This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the Fire Watch Support efforts necessary to support the Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) on USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) and (if Options are exercised) USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), located at Huntington Ingalls Industries – Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS), Newport News, VA. The Contractor shall provide Fire Watch personnel that currently have, or can obtain, the necessary security clearance to be eligible to obtain a badge from HII-NNS. The supplies and services to be furnished hereunder shall be manufactured or performed according to specific descriptions and specifications.
