Background
The solicitation N6833523R0028 is for the procurement of the Improved Weapon Assembly Stand (IWAS) under a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The Government intends to award the contract to the lowest price technically acceptable proposal. Interested offerors must be U.S. DoD Contractors and must provide a copy of their current approved form DD2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement.

Work Details
The IWAS consists of several components including MSU-347/E Weapon Assembly Stand, ADU-1135/E Bomb Cradle Adapter, ADU-1136/E UTDS Mounting Bracket Adapter, and CGU-13/E Bomb Retention Strap. The solicitation includes specific quantities and unit prices for IWAS Pilot Production Units, IWAS Production Units for Years One to Four, additional IWAS Pilot Production Units, IWAS PPU Refurbishment, Contractor Testing, Report of Meeting/Minutes, Integrated Program Management Report, Presentation Material, Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP), Requests For Variance (RFV), Test Procedure, Qualification Test Report (QTR), Logistics Product Data.

Period of Performance
The delivery dates vary for different items under the contract. For example, Contractor Testing of 2 each IWAS Pilot Production Units shall commence within 180 days After Receipt of Order (ARO). The delivery instructions for Additional Pilot Production Units and IWAS PPU Refurbishment will be provided in the Delivery Order.

Place of Performance
The place of performance includes Patuxent River, MD for Government Testing and the contractor's facility for various activities such as Contractor Testing and PPUs refurbishment.
