Background
The contract is issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, specifically for the U.S. Fleet Activities in Sasebo, Japan. The mission of NAVFAC is to provide facilities engineering and construction support to the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense agencies. Work Details
The contractor shall perform inspection, testing, and maintenance services for the following systems at U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo:
- Exhaust Hoods and Ducts
- Grease Traps
- Fire Suppression Systems
- Kitchen Hood Washing Systems

The work includes both recurring tasks (base period) and non-recurring tasks as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor will be notified of requirements via issuance of a Request for Proposal with the SOW. Task orders will utilize Exhibit Line Item Numbers (ELINs) for ordering work. The contractor must also accept Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) orders without additional markup or handling fees.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over multiple periods including a base period starting from April 15, 2025, with options extending through April 14, 2030.
