IDS MX and Hardware

The IDS program is an Acquisition Category (ACAT) IV-T program of record (POR) currently in sustainment managed by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 408 and sponsored by OPNAV N96C4. The IDS program provides a means to collect and process identity information in the conduct of maritime and expeditionary operations. The primary focus of this contract is the maintenance and repair of the IDS Handheld Collection System and the procurement of additional IDS Handheld Collection Systems.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), located at the Dahlgren naval base, VA intends to issue an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery (IDIQ) type contract under Statue Authority Permitting other than Full and Open Competition: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval Ser: CJ&A 19-0390. This statement of work (SOW) is to procure continued support of the technology refresh for the Identity Dominance System (IDS) program.
