Background
The Department of the Navy, specifically the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW) located in San Diego, California, is extending a bridge contract for the HUBZone General Construction (GC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Small Business Set-Aside Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MACC). This extension is necessary to continue supporting the construction, repair, and renovation of Commercial and Institutional (C&I) facilities across various government installations in the NAVFAC SW Area of Responsibility (AOR).

The contract aims to ensure that these facilities are maintained and developed to meet operational needs.

Work Details
The HUBZone GC MACC encompasses task orders for new construction, renovation, and repair of C&I facilities within the NAVFAC SW AOR. Projects will primarily utilize Design-Build (DB) methodologies or secondarily Design-Bid-Build (DBB) methodologies. The types of projects include but are not limited to: airport buildings, office/administrative buildings, communications facilities, vehicle maintenance facilities, armories, parking garages, barracks facilities, prison facilities, fire stations, religious buildings, hotels, dining facilities, hospital/medical facilities, warehouse facilities, school facilities, and retail facilities.

Period of Performance
The contract period is extended by 12 months from June 07, 2026 to June 07, 2027.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be recognized as qualified HUBZone small businesses. The managing partner of the CJW Joint Venture must be a certified HUBZone Small Business. The joint venture should be designated as a HUBZone joint venture with the HUBZone-certified partner identified.
