Background
The solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for general construction primarily in the Marine Corps Installations (MCI) East areas, issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic. The contract aims to result in the award of up to six Design-Bid-Build, IDIQ MACCs for new construction, renovations, alterations, and repairs for general construction projects in the Marine Corps Installation East Area of Responsibility.

Work Details
The resulting contracts will provide for new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings, systems and infrastructure primarily located at Marine Corps Installations East (MCI East). The proposed seed project for this solicitation is titled Interior/Exterior Repairs, Bldg. AS124, Marine Corps Air Station New River.
The period of performance for this MACC will be a base year and four one-year option periods for a total performance period of five years or an aggregate maximum value of $249,000,000 for all combined contracts. Projects for the MACC have an estimated construction cost between $150,000.00 and $10,000,000.00; however smaller and larger dollar value projects may be considered at the discretion of the Government.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this MACC will be a base year and four one-year option periods for a total performance period of five years or an aggregate maximum value of $249,000,000 for all combined contracts.

Place of Performance
Work will be primarily performed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune (including the New River Air Station and other related facilities) and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. However, it may also be performed at other military and government installations/sites under the Marine Corps Installation East Area of Responsibility.
