Description

This is a justification and approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition to establish a follow-on Community Nursing Home (CNH) contract to service Veteran patients of the Portland VA Health Care System.
The awarded contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) consisting of a Three and one-half (3.5) year base ordering period with no option years for Period of Performance 11/01/2022 04/30/2026.
FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items: This procurement will be accomplished IAW FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2.
